School Improvement Plan Goals (For full plan see school webpage)

• Intellectual Focus: Helping students find greater personal meaning in what they are learning. We need to help our students learn to find more comfort in hand-on, experiential learning away from textbook and worksheets, which will align more with the Redesigned BC Curriculum and allow more ways of developing their skills in the Core Competencies
• Human and Social Emotional Focus: Improve the quality of respect shown between students within the school, especially with our Junior students.
• Career Development Focus: Creating more opportunities for students to have access to ‘pathways’ programs like Food Safe, First Aid, WHMIS, etc. so that they are building a knowledge and skill set to start in the world of work.

District Framework for Enhancing Student Learning – for full report see district web page
